Seems like DECIMATE(mode=2) in Decomb for AVS 2.5 is fake/bug.

I've tried many times different presets, but DECIMATE(mode=2) don't see duplicate frames at all.
When I try to use it on cleaned movies/anime/movie_credits(very good test on duplicates) it thinks slowly every loop (25 PAL frames -> 24 Film) and then removes any GOOD frame. So, instead of making smooth film movement, DECIMATE amplifies jerkiness of 25fps sequence making in 2 times worse (1-duplikate, 2-frame skip). :-(

Decomb 5.2.1 (http://neuron2.net/decomb/decombnew.html) is the newest release, and mode=2 works fine with it, though you might have to twiddle with threshold2 a bit.

(Now if only there were a mode that combines modes 2 and 3, acting like mode 2 but blending fields if no duplicate is found... perhaps I'll get around to adding that myself but since I'm in the middle of writing my diploma thesis it'll be a while... :()

there was very strange frame patterns last time (I hate remastered TV versions :-( ), and decomb couldn't show me that strangeness because of very long loop (25)... so, I think I can fix it now...
