Hello!
Recently I've come across with some old movies that have a rather weird field order. Such as this one: MPEG2 SAMPLE (http://personal.inet.fi/private/hood/sample.mpg)
I've no clue whatsoever how to deal with sources such as this one :confused:
It's a PAL source and it's full of interlaced frames. But there's more. It also has some blended frames. There are like 3 of them per every 25 frames. So I'd like someone to tell me how to get rid of these unneeded frames, so I can get the framerate correct.
I know I could just deinterlace the whole flick and leave it be. But the movie is 2 hours long and I'm trying my best to make it fit one on a single CD (700MB). So removing these frames would certainly help. And I also want to remove them, because I feel like they make the motion look somewhat ghosted.
