Is there a way (Plug-In or something) to open an AC3 file in Vegas Video?

i belive, no.

i convert to wav before import. i cant find other way.

I can't open an .ac3 file in Vegas.
I can't open an MPEG-2 file with AC3 audio in Vegas (well, I get the video only).
But I can open an AVI file with AC3 audio in Vegas 5 after installing the AC-3 ACM Decompressor by fccHandler (http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/AC3ACM/index.html).
That wasn't really the question but I thought I'd let you guys know anyway.
