Where can i find a detail description of the parameter of expert mode in dvd to mp4 trascoding?I tried the nerodigital site but the descriptio doesn't go into deep analisys...

most options are the same for every mpeg-4 codec (divx5, xvid, 3ivx...) and therefore you will find them by using search or reading the stickies
what else do you want to know exactly?

motion search:EZPS
Motion estimation algorithm : Enhanced Predictive Zonal Search with a standard diamond search (EPZS) or a square diamond search (EPZS^2). The later is slightly better but slightly slower.
CN predict : fast prediction of not-coded macroblocs. Improves speed at the expense of the quality. Use it in slow motion encode or if the encoding speed is critical.
Cut scene : automatic detection of scene-cuts. Improves the quality but add key frames wherever needed (regardless of the GOP size).
The slider let you choose the detection threshold (lower values => less sensitive).
Fast ME : Fast motion estimation mode. Faster but with a lower quality.
Low/high noise : internal adaptive low-pass filter. High noise is for high noise source (slightly blurs), low for low noise source (slightly sharper). With a DVD source, pretty useless with a DVD source.
High B-VOP quantization : increase the quantisation scale of b-frames. Produce a slightly sharper picture at the expense of lower quality of b-frames.
Max MV range : maximum motion vector range. On standard action movies at standard resolutions (like 640x272), ±128 is a good value. Higher values may impact performance of some decoders.
Pshyco.visual quality : Low level, the psycho-visual importance of individual frames is taken into account to improve the perceived quality bits wherever possible. High level, the psycho-visual importance of individual macroblocs is also analysed. For standard movie encode, use High. (I don't know what DivX does).
1/2-1/4 pixel(1/4 same of Qpel?) : 1/2 = half-pixel motion estimation, 1/4 = quarter-pixel motion estimation.
spatial prediction : enable spatial prediction of intra macroblocs. Use it unless there is a compatibility issue with some weird decoder.
predicted vop : enable p-frames. Use it unless you want to produce a kind of mjpeg file (with a much better coding efficiency).
unlimited motion vectors : let the motion vectors point outside of the pictures. It improves the quality on the edges. Use it unless there is a compatibility issue with a decoder.
4 motion vector per macroblock (same of VHQ in xvid?) : enable 4 motion vectors per macrobloc mode. It improves the quality at the expense of a small speed loss. Not compatible with every decoder. If I recall correctly, it is activated in XviD with VHQ0 and above.
support for interlaced vop (only for interlaced source?) : enables the MPEG-4 interlace mode. Use it only for interlaced source. It's better to de-interlace first though.
bidirectional VOP (same of b-frames?) : enables b-frames.
