View Full Version : AC3 tracks considered as LPCM in my burned DVD (using dvd-lab pro)

hello , today i used dvd-lab pro for the first time ...
and I'm very disappointed !

I create a dvd video from an M2V stream
+ 2 AC3 audio tracks + Subtitle.

When I played the burned DVD-R (in several
dvd players) , the sound was horrible !
It was just white noise. This is because
the player considers the audio tracks as
LPCM streams, whereas they are AC3 streams...

Where did I make a mistake ?

When I authored the DVD in dvd-lab pro, these
tracks were correctly identified as dolby digital.
So why do they end up considered as LPCM in the final
result ?

Please help !

I don't want to make more coasters !

Thanks.

make sure that the original audio file is 48khz and NOT 44.1 or 32khz

my friend had the same problem when encoding to .ac3 and found out that the .wav was in fact 44.1khz
