I don't know if this is the right forum to bring this subject, but since deinterlace issues are so constant here...
I play all my capture videos using XBOX's Media Player or Center (that's based on Linux's mplayer), and the Xbox is connected, of course, on a TV.
I thought that if TV would be my target display, it would be not necessary to deinterlace the video, like DVD. But playing a interlaced video on Xbox, it just like play a interlaced video on a PC.
Anyone know why ?
Thanks.
