I’m using CCE Basic v2.69.01.04 Full Licensed version. I have a P4 2.0 GHz CPU, on an Intel D845GERG2 motherboard with an 845GE chipset.
I’m running Win XP Pro with 1 Gig of RAM. I have the latest DVD2SVCD Bundle installed with D2SRoBa v3.6 using Rejig. I have Sonic Scenarist v2.7 installed, & 40.0 GB of hard drive space to spare. I’ve created my CCE Templates & DVD2SVCD recognizes them, however my problem is that after the ripping process,DVD2AVI, & AC3 Audio Extraction have completed successfully, as per the displayed logs. My problem: Once CCE Basic is initiated, the Avisynth scripts are loaded in to CCE, CCE looks like it's going to work ok, but then it stops & D2SRoBa reports a CCE movie window detected in the log, & displays – Shutdown, & all procedures are halted. At this point when right clicking on the D2SRoBa icon in the lower right tool bar, D2SRoBa v3.6 says – script paused. How do I un-pause the script, or keep it from being paused so the process keeps continuing? What could be pausing the script, & holding up the procedure? A few other specs, I have the newest version of DVD Decrypter installed, & in D2SRoBa the Auto Start DVD Decrypter box is checked by default. Is This newer version of CCE Basic supported by these programs? I hope I haven't wasted my hard earned dollars.

Please help; I really want this to work. I firmly believe this is the best method for DVD back-up, until Dual Layer DVD becomes more readily available.

DVD2SVCD does not support CCE Basic. Also, D2SRoBa is meant for one-pass VBR encoding, which CCE Basic does not support.

Although, AFAIK, the lack of CCE-Basic support is not explicitely stated in the D2S FAQ (it should), a simple "CCE Basic" search would have given the answer.

From your last sentence, I understand you want to make backups on DVD media (not SVCD), so you could use DVD-Rebuilder (DVD-RB) instead, which support CCE Basic.

Do you get the same quality & results with DVD-Rebulder as you would with DVD2SVCD & D2SRoBa? Does DVD-Rebuilder replace both DVD2SVCD & D2SRoBa? I'd be willing to try it. Thanks for the response Tylo:) .

Is there a guide available for DVD-Rebuilder?
