Hi,

i use Vdub at home and had no Probs. Now i give VDub a friend of me. He want to make from some DivX a DVD. But when i try to demux or save WAV-File in VirtualDubMod, VDMod stop. VDMod count the time away but does not write a bit, so that there is a Project-time of "1 Day ...".

Do someone know how could this happen and how to solve the Problem?

PS: We use VDubMod 1.5.10.1. I tried to do this with 1.4.10 and hat the same problem.

So hope for help

I guess the file is corrupt at some point. Btw, do you tried Vdub ?( not mod )

The file(s) is not corrupt... Because this problem occurrence in different files and at different points (when you start the process a second time (or third)). This means, that at first attempt it extract (for example) 15MB and second time 12MB (same file).

I used VDubMod but also tried VDub. But becuase the most DivX-FIles has MP3-VBR and some movies are bigger than 1 File (2*700MB) you can't append or demux the audio with VDub because it can not handle MP3-VBR (as i remember).

Does no one have a idea?

I think this is conflict or something like that with some drivers/decoders/encoders. But i don't know. I mean, at my computer there were no probs.

We tried it now with an other wav-extractor (from divx-diggest.com) and got a defect wav-file which has only a cutted-version of the audio (audio-cut-audio-cut...).

Please help

Maybe someone know an other method to demux the audio from the video? An other program? A program which can demux the audio if the movie have more than one audio-stream?

thanks

krieger2005: Within Virtual Dub process video separately ticking the ´no audio´ option.

Use then Nandub to extract audio w/ the ´save wav´ command.

Try this, hope it helps!

thanks.

i tried it.
It can demux the second audio-stream of the movie but does nothing, when i try to demux the first Audiostream. When i use Graphedit for demuxing it is all okey...

It seems that something is wrong with the first audio-stream. This problem i get allways when the movie is splitted on more than one parts. Maybe because the Audiostream is coded in MP3-VBR? and through the cut into more that one part the MP3-Stream was broken?
Maybe because the first Audiostream is shifted in the movie (the second Audiosrteam started before the first some 3 seconds)
BTW: When i try to demux the first Audio-stream in VDubMod, but not from the begining of the movie but just from a middle of the movie (or so) VDubMod does his job good. I must experiment to say, when the cause of this problem is the shift of the audiostream.

The use of Graphedit is also littlebit terrible when you have 2 CD with 2 Audistreams and Graphedit generate you a WAV-File. Than you must mux the WAV-Files and so on. Maybe one know how to mux 2 sequently Audiostreams in Graphedit? I'm an absolutly newbie with Graphedit.
