DivX3 is an excellent codec for medium/high compressibility encoding. It's possible to use custom matrix with DivX3 to reduce blocking?

hm divx3 is not mpeg-4 compliant!

therefore i dont think that it offers more options than available via nandub

For me DivX3 ffdshow (ffvfw) is very better than DivX3 SBC. ffdshow use the H263 and MPEG matrix but not other custum matrix. DivX3 isn't the most powerful codec but it's my preferred codec and represent for me really the "DivX spirit"

DivX3 is a codec which block much and use HVS matrices could give him a second life ... why not?

I dont know why you would find it better than normal mpeg4 in ffvfw...Hmmm.
