Hi guys,

We've had a couple of posts from users in our forums over at DivX.com asking how to convert OGM files (with OGG audio) to DivX AVI files for use on their shiny new DivX Certified Philips player (spot the plug ;)).

Anyway, I spent approximately 2 minutes putting this together, and roughly the same amount of time QA'ing it (use it at your own risk ;)) but I thought it might be handy if you guys were having similar problems:

Its very crude, but it does the job :)

thanks for the tool, but mpeg-4 video streams can be extracted from .ogm to .avi with virtualdubmod without any hassle

Right, but the OGG audio is where the problem lies :) DivX Certified devices don't support OGG.

AVI containers do not support OGG Audio.:o

Thanks, DigitAl56K! That was really slick. I see how it works, but it's nice having it automated. The only reason I wanted to convert is because ZoomPlayer kept crashing on one .ogm movie. Looks good so far!
