First, let me apologize for this post, but I have read several posts on here about packed bitstreams and the lack thereof and still have this question. My question is, going for a 2cd xvid encode (w/o packed bitstream) of a movie within the matroska container using GK .29 alpha build 1822, will my a/v be in sync theoretically if I split the movie using virtualdubmod. I read something that the video lags a little behind the audio, but using a directshow player, there are no problems, but i didn't know if this included splitting w/ vdubmod or not? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
