Question about Doom's CCE Basic guide

Doom's CCE Basic guide recommends unchecking "Quality setting" and keeping "Natural picture" checked. On newer versions of CCE Basic, when you uncheck "Quality set", the other settings including "Natural picture" become grayed and unselectable. What settings are folks using now, and why? I am relatively new to CCE Basic and curious about other peoples experiences with these settings. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I hope this has not been answered elsewhere as I have been searching for a while.

the unchecking bit still applies.. I have CCE Basic 2.69 as well.. don't worry if you can't check one of the other options.. but in 2.69 you need to set the quantizer characteristics as you would in CCE 2.67.
