OK, ive gone through the normall part, ave added lines to the scripts to half the res on the extras, ive then opened RA and hit author, ive loaded the ecl that RA gives, ive set each one up correct.. i.e. video type, gop etc... ive encoded.Now i get up this morning and i check the advanced part to check the Q.Factor.Now th movie is under 5 with is good, but the extras where about 15, even the progressive extras., there was red in the background, now i thought this is strange.So ive click new in cce, opened the avs of one of the extras(interlaced) and encoded it again to a new folder.Same settings as before but this time the extras q.factor was 6 , no red background.
So anyone have a clue to why cce messed the extras up the first time round when ever thing was loaded into cce through the ecl that RA gave??

I think i have figured out what went wrong.Even though the video has encoded half res and the script said half res, i think cce was setting the bit allocation up as if it was full res, as i just opened the ecl from where i encoded the extra separate and the hight and width was 352 X 576, but the ecl that RA created has the extras hight and width down as 720 x 576.
