Preparing Feature-length Material

When commercial DVD's are authored, is there a single, say, 90 minute video file, or is it split up into multiple cells with seamless transitions?

I ask because there's no way to break the audio into pieces without having audible breaks (we've done sample-accurate tests in Pro Tools to test this). So the audio HAS to be one, contiguous file.. but in Scenarist, you can't stretch a single audio file over multiple video files, so...


Ideas?

WOW! Thanks for that! That answers that question... one long audio file, multiple video files.. that'll make asset management MUCH easier!
