I'm trying to split the Greatest Videos From Red Hot Chili Peppers into 2 DVD's. Everything is ok with disc 1, but I'm getting some problems with the disc 2.
I have edited VMG_PTT_SRPT and when I try to play all the titles everything is ok.
I've disabled some buttons from the main menu with menu edit but when I access the only availabe menu, I can't choose any option because I always get Ilegal navigation command or something like that.
Can someone tell me how can I correct my problem ?
Where can I get information to understand the pre/post command language ?

No one knows how to help me ?
Do you need more information ?
There are 25 vts files, one for each of the videos.
I used the first 19 to disc 1 and I'm using 20 to 25 to the second disc. I'm also using vts_01_x.ifo for disc 2 because the menus are in the VOB.
I'm only changing things in video_ts. It is necessary to make also some changes is vts_01_x.ifo ?

I don't want to give up, so let's do things in another way.
This is what I have in VIDEO_TS.IFO->VMGM_MAT->First Play PGC
1.Pre Command Set GPreg<6> mov (set-val)<1000>
2.Pre Command Set GPreg<6> mov (set-val)<1>
3.Pre Command (JumpSS VTSM) Jump to TitleSet(vts): 1,Title(ttn): 1,root-menu
It seems that it goes to root-menu in VTS_01.
Am I correct ?
So, now should I look at VTS_01.IFO First Play PGC ?

how did you split the dvd?(what tools did you use?)
try using vobbalnker to slpit the dvd. blank out all your unwanted stuff then cut the main movie. it also has the final file size in the top right corner so you know were to cut. then edit all your buttons.

Am I correct ? Yes, you are.So, now should I look at VTS_01.IFO First Play PGC ? Ain't gonna find one. Look into the Root menu under VTSM_PGCI_UT instead; not sure it'll help you though.

The DVD has 25 vts files plus the video_ts. Each title has its own vts file and the menu vobs are on vts_01.
I have used video_ts and vts_01 to vts_19 for disc 1 and everything is ok.
For disc 2 I used video_ts, vts_01 and tvs_20 to vts_25.
If I edit VMG_PTT_SRPT and change the values for the first 5 titles to use the ones I want, everything is ok until I reach title 6. If I change the VMG_PTT_SRPT->Number Of Title play Maps to 5, the menu buttons don't work anymore. Looks like the buttons are pointing to something that doesn't exists. How can I correct this ?

@pladeira
You mentioned you have a DVD with 25 VTSs and each one is a different title according to your VIDEO_TS.IFO / Number of Title Play Maps. I'm assuming each VTS has only one title but it doesn't matter. I don't have your DVD but this is what I would do.
Disk 1
Blank out VTS_01 to VTS_19. There are many ways to do this. e.g. VOBBlanker, Titleset Blanker, my manual Title stripping guides, etc.
Merging Cells and Programs so that both are at 1 is recommended if you want quicker bypassing.
Disable your unused your buttons with MenuEdit or DVDRemake.
Disk 2
Same as above but doing VTS_20 to VTS_25 this time.

I have done what you told me, but the size of all the new files don't fit into a DVD. All the VTS_xx_0.vob that I don't want to include in the DVD have between 20 and 80 MB. How can I release some more MB ?

hy pladeira!
very easy way...why don't you try DVDFAB?
i backup my Beatles anthology(4 dvds-9 and 1 dvd-5)in 9 dvds-r with all menus, chapters, all audio tracks, ...everything working like a charm.
great guide from MR.Bass: http://www.mrbass.org/dvdfab/
doom9 downloads: http://www.doom9.org/software2.htm#vobtools
dvdfab homepage: http://www.dvdfab.com/
tutor in homepage: http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-fab-tutorial.htm

How can I release some more MB ? I didn't know that your menu VOBs were also big. You don't necessarily had to have VTS_01 to VTS_19 on the first disc. You could've figured out a better splitting plan like doing VTS_01 to VTS_13.
