QCCE CYBER EDITION

is a modded Version based on QCCE 1.02 by jonny.
All the credits goes to You boy!

Why I mod a working version?
Cos some things I don't like in the orignal version.
So I tuned it to fit in my eyes.
First it hast to many dlls in the folder.
So how to get rid of it?
I changed the compiler. I'm working with komodo.
This perl-developer-kit has many tools in it.
Also a EXE-Builder. So my version is a clean EXE Release.
If You downloaded my first version, delete all the
files, and copy the new one into the folder.
My version has only 4 files and 5 folders now.

In the third version I changed this:

-added CYMAT 1.2
-added PVCD 17d and 18a
-added MVCD 2.6
-added Notch
-added CYDVD 1.1 Template PAL and NTSC (2,5 h)
-added CYDVD 1.2 Template PAL and NTSC (upto 5 h)

Nice work Amnon82, I'm glad someone is continuing development of this handy utility :) Just one question though, would you be able to provide more information on the CYMAT 1.1 matrix - the one that is set to default (i.e. what type of situations you would use it in) ? CYMAT 1.1 is the old AVAMAT 6 I used in all my apps I coded.

LigH, here in the forum told me, that I did a very good matrix.
As You know LigH, he is a big man here (normaly in the german board).

I tested MVCD, KVCD and all other Matrices out in the net. And then I started to create a new one. To add all goods of all matrices into one.

And this is CYMAT 1.1.

For what I use it. For DVDs. It compress a little bit, but I want to keep much as I can.

For SVCDs and high compression I'll add my new CYMAT 1.2 to the next release. CYMAT 1.2 will compress more in the end. I didn't test it know, cos I wrote it down today in the train, driving home.

So, if my new coming out of my mind is good, you'll see it in the next release.

P.S. if somebody is here from Jugoslavia: be happy, the next release will be also in this language.

Here the new template for the Version 1.11

CYDVD 1.2 5 Hour 16:9 Movie 720x576 (http://www.brckomania.net/CYBERNETSOFTWARE/FILES/CYDVD1.2_5h.ens)

This matrix is designed to get up to 5 hour of 16:9 movies with 500-3550 Bitrate and a 20-60 Q on one Disc with 1 448 AC3 per movie.

I'll add this gread new MAT to the next version with some other well known matrices.

P.S. Will only work the the actual Version 1.11 german and english.

CYMAT 1.2 is build in. Start the app and click on S to save the matrix to a TXT file.

Remember floppy: CYMAT 1.2 is (C) 2004 by Amnon82. If You want to add it to Your templates, write my copyrigths into it!

Nice sample Amnon82, I've been using your CYMAT 1.2 matrix on some of my tests lately, and I'm quite impressed with it; well done. Bit off topic here, but may I ask what movie that is (in your sample)? It looks unreal :)

Now You can compile QCCE CYBER EDITION X.XX also without Visual C++ 6.0 installed on Your machine.

I changed the needed sourcefiles.
All needed addon files for Perl are now precompiled. So You've only to download a 8 MB Package which contains the 51 MB extra needed files.

Only run the Install.bat.

Just wondering, is QCCE-CE in any way functionally *better* than the original? i.e. does it run faster or anything? From the looks of it you've just included some extra templates. P.S. I use QCCE with the KVCD notch matrix, if that makes any difference.

On my machine it works faster cos of my settings. KVCD is also OK.
The speed depends on Your machine and the settings.

The tool is only modded by me. Till now I didn't tweak it. Only added some stuff of mine and translated it into german.

Amnon82, I have been using this great utility for two weeks now and it saves me lots of time, thanks for that! What I would have loved to see is a built in encoder where I enter the movie length and audio size, and it calculates the available space for the movie encode, now I am using a separate calculator, but a one stop program where you throw all data in then leaves it to o its stuff would be so much more convenient. Thanks again for all your work!

I don't understand you; In french "terrible" have several significations. That's perhaps the reason why I don'tmean what I wanty to.

I just wanna say that QCCE is a very useful soft and I like it.
If it's famous I haven't seen a lot of topics about it (about the method yes)

Amnon82 is there a way you can modify your excellent program to run directly on CCE, instead of using Eclcce?

CCE cannot be launched whit an .ecl as parameter, it's a limitation of trial version (iirc)
With EclCCE program CCE is lauched and feeded with .ecl

So i think is near impossible.

Afaik Qcce is near to be a dead project. If someone could pick the source code and updating...

Btw i use 2.50 and 2.67.0.63 (trial) and i feel like home with these ;)
