View Full Version : Anybody using logitech kB having problem getting CTRL-F12 to work in 1.35b?

This is gonna sound weird, but, I downloaded the new 1.35b release, installed it, and because of some other updates, rebooted.

When it rebooted, I fired up autoGK. CTRL-F10 brings up the 2nd audio window as expected, but CTRL-F12 does not bring up the "Select File" entry, rather than Select Directory.

IS there some other way to toggle back and forth? An icon to click on, or something that will work? (besides CTRL-F12?)

I'm using the Logitech MX Duo wireless. Any idea? Title bar says AutoGK 1.35b, and for the heck of it, I uninstalled, then installed 1.25 full, then upgraded to 1.30 then 1.35b...

Thanks.

I have a zillion MPEG-2's to convert, this is a PITA.

Gets even weirder. Tried using MS on-screen keyboard to send CTRL-F12 to it, and nothing happens. But I can CTRL-F10 away...

And I have double and triple checked, and it's definitley 1.35b.

Thanks.

Just to make sure CTRL-F12 only changes label above source directory. It doesn't bring anything up...

Correct, it changes the lable to select a file, instead of a dir.

however, with the logitech kb, this doesn't happen. It eats the CTRL-F12, and doesn't pass it through to the app.

You can even try it with the MS onscreen keyboard (if you're running XP). (Under accessories -> Accessibility).

*however* it does work if I plug in a MS natural KB USB, but a pain to have to have 2 KB's just to send one command. CTRL-F10 works for bringing up the 2nd audio track, maybe it could be switched from F12 to F9 or something?

I realize that it's most likely the logitech itouch's fault, but since it's a fairly popular KB, it may save you some hassle to change it...

Or perhaps a command-line option, so that the default choice is File instead of DIR? I can always make a shortcut...

Thansk for your time.

I'll see what I can do. I'm more into making explicit selector for the this mode as file mode is not intended to be hidden :) (only during first test versions)

Well, FWIW, I tried it on several, and it worked fine. I'll do a bunch more of them while I have the other KB plugged in, if I have problems, I'll be sure to post...
