Strange Error in 0.2.9 Alpha?

I'm trying to use GK 0.2.9 alpha, build 1811, to open a .d2v file, and when I click open, I get a strange error saying "Before you can use this you have to put __ into your avisynth plugin directory." It doesn't tell me what I have to put in the plugin directory, where I put the __, the error just has 2 spaces. I've reset all registry settings and the plugin directory already has many things in it. I'm assuming this is an alpha bug, but if anyone can comfirm that or if not, how to fix it or what it's asking for?
