To Live or die in LA R1, region block on region free no rce image!

Well,

to make a long story short, I used ISO Mode with decrypter to create the IFO. I have remove region protection as default in DVDDecrypter. That was done.

When I mount the image I get the screen "Player's region is not the same as this disk' from VMG...
The ISo is region free with no RCE.

Also strange is that DVD title 1, is title one in VTS08!
I've checked VIDEO_TS and VTS08_0.IFOs, but I didn't find any reference to SPreg<20>, that I think holds the player's region.

Has anyone bumbed on such a disk?

If you've already ripped the disc, you wont find any reference to SPreg<player region code> in the IFO files. They will have all been patched to whatever you selected for RCE Protection region.

Put the ORIGINAL disc back in the drive and see if RCE was even present on it. (DVD Decrypter will tell you if it is). Maybe you accidentally selected the wrong region and so it will always error out with that region error.

Up to point lightning, I had used the wrong region code during decrypting ... Decrypted ok when I used the correct RC 1 aka 1.
