Hello all-
I am using DVD Decrypter and then encoding to DIVX 5 with AutoGK. I don't have DVD burner so I am using a CD burner but sometimes the movies are cut off at the end. I am choosing 1 cd conversion should I be choosing 2cd's instead. I guess I always thought that was a feature of DIVX was one disc? Do most people just do a 2 cd conversion all the time? And also when burn with Nero, it always asks me do I want to finalize after burning because of the size of the file, is this correct to do? Thanks in advance.
:)

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

This question appears to be a duplicate of http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=501224#post501224 which was posted in the Development forum; probably the wrong place for a usability question. I recommend that in the future, you avoid posting the same question in multiple places, this is called "cross-posting" and is something of a faux pas, as it can split discussions in two. Should you find yourself posting in the wrong forum next time, merely reply to your own thread, requesting a moderator move it.

Now to your questions: If you are selecting 1 CD, you should get a single .avi file on disk that is very close to 700MB. If your CD media size is different (such as 650MB), you should instead select a custom size. AGK assumes all CDs are 700MB.

Play that .avi file while it is still on your hard drive. Does it contain the complete content? If it does not, then copy and paste your log file here so that we can see what AGK is doing.

Nero uses "multisession" by default. Multisession encoding takes up more room. "Finalizing" turns off that capability. You can either respond to the warning message, or follow the Nero burning instructions in the AGK tutorial. Start ...(All) Programs ... AutoGK ... Tutorial.
