I like the power/simplicity/features of dvd burning with dvddecrypter.

With your knowledge of aspi/windows/mastering have you ever think building a full burning program ?

Not as Nero but more like burnatonce, just data/audio/dvd buring/iso build and burn iso
I think it will be stable as rock and no more coaster !

Erm... not really, no.

I did want to build support for creating images from a bunch of files but it turned out to be quite tricky and I gave up!

I just posted something elsewhere in response to someone who kept getting failed burns in Nero. I too have had that problem - failed burns which resulted in my whole system freezing. I am very new to DVD burning, but was amazed that other freeware programs could be successful where Nero failed.

What is it about Nero that could cause this situation?

Why do people persist with Nero when freeware does the job.
