ProVsion+ Problems when capturing

Hello,

I have purchased the ProVision+ and im still getting the a macro problem. I have the video out wire into the vid in on pro vision and the out from provision to my AIW.
My Prvision is of course turned on. Question do i need SCART?? i am unfamiliar with that input on my Provision.

Any suggestions??? For those of you who do not know, it will remove macrovision from DVD to vhs and Vice versa. I have succefully captured vHS tapes before. My other tapes are fine, but it seems to be these particular Japanese tapes. These tapes are at least 2 or three years old

ive also tried to record to my dv cam, but i also get an "inhibit" error.

Well id just thought id post my findings:

Bought the RF modulator from Radio Shach.
Did not work.....
Put the video out into the vid in of the RF switch, and the copper binc cable to my capture card. Using the TV tuner sofware. I still get the looping frames.

i even went so far as to:


Hooked the vcr --> Provision ---> RF modulater ----> copper cable ----> AIW 9800 pro.

if that isnt overboard on getting past macro, i dont know what is??


EVery tape i have can be caputerd thru the AIW TV tuner software, except for these particular ones. Could it be japanese tapes have some sort of different marco????

Im all out of options.
