View Full Version : 1.30 cannot use DVDShrink output. :(

I always use DVDShrink to process the correct files, to ensure proper episode is pulled from episodic DVDs, to eliminate subs and unwanted language files. Sadly, in version 1.30 I can no longer do this.
Using DVDShrink is such a fabulous way to ensure that I get exactly what I want encoded I will have to go back to 1.25 unless there is a setting somewhere I am missing that will allow me to continue using DVDShrink to preprocess the DVDs.
Thank you.
EDIT: I don't actually allow DVDShrink to shrink anything, I set the output to where there is no compression at all.

I've tried this and it worked. How did you do it? I used Dvddecypter in IFO-mode on the DVD-image created by DVDshrink and then used AutoGK on the output. No problem!

I don't understand. Is there an answer there to tell me how to use DVDShrink output in AGK 1.3 or re you saying it cannot and will not be able to do that anymore?

One last note (which should be obvious to anyone who used DVDDecrypter). Nothing stops you from faking stream info file for any kind of sources:
0x20 - Subtitle - English - [SubPicture 01: Wide/Letterbox] / LBA: 5440 / PTS: 00:00:17.280 / Delay: 16920ms
0x80 - Audio - AC3 / 6ch / 48kHz / DRC / English / LBA: 23 / PTS: 00:00:00.280 / Delay: -80ms
0xE0 - Video - MPEG-2 / 720x576 (PAL) / 16:9 / Letterboxed / LBA: 1 / PTS: 00:00:00.360 / Delay: 0ms
Making VTS_01_PGC_01 - Stream Information.txt file that contains text above can make AutoGK believe it works with DVDDecrypter source. But I'm not supporting this method officially.
