Futurama NTSC Avisynth script?

I'm trying to re-encode the futurama DVDs and having a tough time getting the source to look halfway decent. Has anyone done these and could suggest a decent script I could use to get something decent fed to CCE? I searched but could only find a script that mf recommended that people were saying caused access violations :(.
