CCE and P4 HT

I have a P4 with HT (2.8 Ghz) and I only get approx 60% to 70% cpu usage. I'm surprised of the speeds they're getting in this post http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=76072 cause I only get approx 1.3x on One-pass VBR with a basic AVS script (only resize). My motherboard is an ASUS P4P800-VM (Intel 865G) with 1GB DDR 400 MHz dual channel and I'm using CCE 2.67. Where's the problem ?

Maybe CCE is not using the two virtual CPU's.If you work under XP,call the Task Manager while encoding (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and look for the CPU performance graphic.Ensure 'one graphic for each CPU' is checked (from de View menu) and then you will see if both virtual CPU's are working. Perhaps your percentage is because just one CPU is in use.

No, the two processors are working but the're under weak load. I was first very satisfied with the speeds I got in CCE but after reading this post (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=76072) I'm feeling a bit frustrated, people with similar configs get almost the double of my speed and when I saw that my CPU usage was near 60%~70% I tought that was the problem but I don't know how to resolve it ! What the hell am I doing wrong ? Does somebody already encounter the same problem ? (Sorry for my poor english!)

Hi nmainil, I've also a P4 HT. I diffent with the settings I use. In my actual setting I got 99% CPU usage. The one before was 75%. You can find it in my new modded app QCCE CYBER EDITION 1.12. Click on the link in my signature.
