I've heard great things for VageDenoiser for AviSynth when it comes to removing grain from video.

What filters, will have similar results in VirtualDub? I am using Vdub v1.5.10 and my two filters at the moment are Smart Smoother v1.1 with Static Noise Reduction v1.3 followed right after.

I achieve great results with these two but suffer grain as a side effect and would like to eliminate this w/ a 3rd and final filter.

Thanks. I actually had that filter already just never used it.

Any recommended settings, maybe default?

There are so many parameters I have no clue where to start.

Also, where to put in my filter chain? Right now my filter chain is as follows:

Smart Smoother v1.1 (7,12)
Static Noise Reduction v1.3 (3)
Resize (Bicubic @ 720,480, Interlaced On)

No, not default.

I know only one Russian article about

Shortly: we MUST tune ALL, and only by mouse.
