ConvertX Capture Question

I recently purchased the ConvertX M402u and needed a little bit of help. I have an old 8mm camcorder with some tapes I want to convert... but I need some sort of cable I believe to go from my 8mm camcorder to the ConvertX Box. Theres a little yellow audio/video connection on the camcorder, and heres a link to see what it looks like.

Theres nothing else for input/output on the camcorder so I know I need something for the audio/video. My question is, what cable do I need (or whatever it is) to hook this up so I can convert my old 8mm tapes?. I tried the composite connection (cable included with the Convertx) but that didn't work with the camcorder. I'm pretty sure I need something else, but I'm not sure what it is and thats why I'm asking. Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much.

in general, a yellow RCA type connector usually indicates composite video. If so, there should be another connector for sound since composite video is video only.

Another option is s-video. That is usually a small round connector with 4 small pins and a sligtly larger square centering pin. (would be the female version on the camcorder)

I appear to of finally found what i'm looking for...

Its a mini plug to 3 RCA cable, and I found it on ebay. Nothing else will really fit in that slot except a little plug. I actually used to have one a long time ago, but lost it, and didn't know the name of it to look for a replacement or anything. Also I couldn't really find it anywhere else on the internet, and just experimented with different searches to figure it out. Needless to say I bought one so my problem should be solved.
