I really like the mux / multiplex tools within TMPGEnc.
Unfortunately, the MPEG-2 joining capabilities run out after 30 days.
Any recommendations for a freeware alternative that can mux MPEG-2 files and audio (but not bbMPEG... that app gives me problems when muxing DVD).

For SVCDs and VCDs you should use bbmpeg because with other muxers like TMPGEnc you can get soundproblems and it will not play correctly on your DVD-Player.
DVDs you don't have to mux because the DVD Author programms multiplex Video and Sound.
So you can use...
BBmpeg
or
Mplex
Hope this help you.;)

I do use bbMPEG for muxing VCD and SVCD.
It's just the muxing of DVD content that gets screwy.
Now if there were only some decent freeware dvd authoring applications! That would be ideal for someone like me who creates videos daily.

Got any recommendations for freeware DVD Authoring tools?
Freeware DVD authoring:
- IFOEdit
- ReJig (uses IFOEdit engine as far as I know)
