hi, I have read andre123's post about burning vob files without the IFO files, and i have a similar problem.
I have some old vob files which were originally ripped with robot4rip for converting to xvid.
The problem is when i try to use clonedvd to shrink it, the program gives me the message " d:\VIDEO_TS.IFO:3 unable to open file. "
I have tried to use the create ifo function in IFOedit, and even changed the name of the vob file to agree with the ifo that is created, but when i try to compress with clone dvd it gives the same error.
I also split a dvd with ifoedit and discovered that cloneDVD cannot compress that either.
Is there something that i'm doing wrong or some limitation of IFOedit or CloneDVD.
Thanks
