I finally found the linux version of helix player and helix producer...
The only problem that remains, is the one making helix producer totally useless for me :(

I simply can't get any video (mpeg4, mpeg2...) to work as an input for the producer :(
In windows I was able to use avisynth, in Linux I am not :(
Piping using mplayer doesn't work for me either... any ideas

btw:
should this question go straight to the linux forum (as it is a problem occuring in linux) or is it right in here with all the other real producer threads...?

Unfortunately Producer does not have support for reading stdin:( Its something we've been asked about a lot through helix community and it would be great to find someone interested in writing an input file reader that does this but no one to date has done the work. One helix community member had signed up to do the work but never completed the project.
