New to Ripping/Copying

I need help - I am a neophite.
Need assistance in getting my DVD collection backed up to DVD +RW. Any assistance is most apprecited.
I have downloaded DVD Decrypter/Img Tool/Ifo Edit/
Patin-Couffin Plug-In/TMPGEnc.Exe.
I had purchased DVD X-Copy Platinum.
A set of simple instructions is I guess what I am in need of.

I've never used DVD X-Copy Platinum, but I have used DVDShrink and it's a good place for us Newbies to start. It's very easy to use, is well-supported, and costs....nothing. Most of the heavy-duty "Shrink" heads hang out in the "One Click Backups" forum, but you can get help here in Noobs, as well, until you get your chops "down".

After getting the hang of Shrink, should you choose to try it out, you can move up to something requiring a higher degree of skill that returns a bit more of a high quality rip, say, DVD Rebuilder, or one of the other backup solutions.

Do some lurking in the "Guides" and "Basics" sections of the forum (links on forum homepage), and by all means, have some fun! This is a great hobby, and a cool place to hang out. Get stuck, give a holler. Good luck!
