Hey,
I always chose ffdshow over DivX's decoding option because it produced a sharper image on my monitor and the noise/sharpening options are great. However since I've been using TV Out I've found that is enhances the blocks in darker areas of the picture a lot more than DivX's/XviD's decoder does. This is a shame it is the best out of three in most other areas. I've tried fiddling with the noise and sharpening settings, but they make little differance. Can you suggest any other options in ffdshow to change that can help minimise the blocking on TV Out?
Thanks!
