Hey all.
I've been looking at the new SATA hard drives mostly because they have smaller and thinner cables between themseves and the moutherboard. I want to get rid of some of the clutter inside of my case by switching to SATA stuff pretty much.
I have an ASUS P4P800PE motherboard that has SATA connectors on the board all ready.
Currently I'm dual booting Win98SE and WinXP Pro on two hard drives separately. One operating system per regular IDE hard drive currently.
The problem I've begun to ponder and search for is weither Windows 98 2nd edition can see a SATA hard drive?? I've looked with google in places but never can get a specific similar situation solution. (Say that 3 times fast) :D
**Yes I want to keep the Win98SE OS on my system... its saved me a few times due to XP's "stupidness" at times.
Will it work... any experiences?
