View Full Version : XviD 3-movie DVD splash-screen...?

Is it possible to create a splash-screen (or something the likes of the DVD menus each movie comes with) to choose which movie to play? Basically I would like to know if it is possible to create a menu for my standalone and have it play one of three movies; leaving the choice up to the viewer.
My DVD/DivX/XviD combo plays the formats fine; but I would think if I could squeeze 3 movies onto a 4.3GB DVD with a menu to choose which movie I would like to see -- it would be amazing. ;)

But there are a series of launching GUIs that might be good enough for you:

Ooops. You're right! I didn't notice that in FSB-SPY's original post.

Is this technically impossible, or has no one simply tried to make it? I do not know much (read: you could argue and say next to nothing :P) about DVD authoring; but it would seem possible to create the menu in DVD standards, and link to XviD instead of MPEG2 streams? Could someone verify?
