Is there an easier guide to using Ifoedit? I read the doom guides and 2Cool's guide, but I need something that's a bit easier, something that will tell you step by step what you need to do or press.

depends on what u are trying to do, what u have said doesn't really help others know what u are trying to do as there are many different things ifoedit can be used for. a little more info would be helpful, e.g. movie only backup, author new dvd, change parts of ifo files. ;)

ok, I just want to be able to remove the company logo intros, just go to straight to the menus, remove some of the extra features in the dvd like trailers.

i read the 2cool's guide, i'm just baffled by what to do...
I press the get VTs sectors, and after that I'm completely lost in what to do...
do you only edit the video_ts.ifo file.

i was there once. you just have to understand the dvd structure and it will become easy for you.
for what you want to do you can use tools like DVDStripper, VobBlanker and DVDRemake.

so if i use any of these tools that you mentioned, can it get rid of menus in different languages and audio?

When I clicked on dvd play on ifoedit, it doesn't show any vob ids or cell ids only title nos and chapter nos. Do I have to use DVD2AVI to preview.

DVDRemake can strip out menus and I tried once with DVDStripper but after you might have to do a mock strip with ifoedit.
For the preview, ifoedit has its own. Just highlight the C:\xxxx\VIDEO_TS\VTS_0x_0.IFO and double click on anything that is a cell.

Try this out till you get familiar with IFO's and all the programs that go with it. Open DVD Shrink strip out the audio and subs you don't want. Then Still Pictures the menu language and take out the audio too. And last, to keep the quality of the main movie set it to no compression.(or compress if you want) Once done open the VTS_TS.IFO with ifoedit and hit GET VST Sectors.

I forgot you can also use TitleSet Blanker to blank out things.
