My captures with Pixelview Play TV PVR (CX23883 chip card), have very visible dot crawls.
I already seek the forum to eliminate this noise, but all methods are not function totally.
I tried VDUB filter for dot crawls also, but I have ghost effect.
Can anybody recommend other ways to eliminate dot crawls?

[edit]
If I deinterlace with TomsMoComb with vertical filter activated I have much less dot crawls, and deinterlace with AlignFields(mode=2) totally eliminate dot crawls, but I have so much ghost with AlignFields.

Have you tried GuavaComb? It eliminates both dot-crawls and rainbows.

I typically use it with default options if my source is otherwise clean:

GuavaComb(mode="NTSC")

It'll take maybe 10 frames to kick-in, so be patient with it.

You could also give this vdub filter a try. It is targetted at NTSC, but if you use a CX23883 you are probably in NTSC country.

I make good captures (full PAL) using freware Windows Media 9 Capture program, on a much slower computer Duron 945, SDRAM around 300 Video on-board.
