Corrupted MPEG1

I'm desperate..
I've cut the first frames of an MPEG1 file (actually i've done it with 30 files... that's why i'm desperate!!) using M2-edit.
The process ended without warnings but when i try to open the edited file... No program like M2edit, VirtualDub, TMPG can open it! :(
Now i have about 40 rare mpeg1 files corrupted, maybe lost.
I just want to know if there's a way to fix it or if i can trow them in the trashcan :(

I remark that the files were good and that i did a normal cutting with M2edit

Try to search failures with VCDEasy and delete them. Try to put the files into Videolan. This programm should play all files if there aren't corrupt.
