Problem with Dvd Decrypter

Sometimes when trying to burn a dvdr dvd decrypter will hang up on me. Like it will start burning and then all of a sudden freeze up, also the speed locks itself at 1.8x always no matter what kind of discs im using, has anyone else seen this?

Slow speed is because of DMA issues.

Delete your ide controller within Device Manager and reboot.

What about the hanging part? Will deleting the controller fix that also>?

Possibly.

Hanging is a driver issue. It could just be that SPTI (which I assume you're using?) doesnt work too well with yours.
