i'm simply trying to play a set of VOB files I have on my computer. I've tried with WinDVD, PowerDVD, ATI DVD, and other various players. I get the same problem with each.

Let's say I load a playlist of the 8 VOB files. the first 1 or 2 might play perfectly fine...but eventually one of them always plays either another language audio track or the one where the director is talking over top the entire time. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to get any of these players to play the correct track at all times. I have found a spot where I could select audio language...but it's greyed out as if I don't even have any options.

Any information on how I can get my VOBs to play with English audio all the time would be great.

thanks!

are u playing the vobs directly? try using powerDVD's play dvd from hard drive feature by selecting the VIDEO_TS folder (needs VIDEO_TS.IFO in to be used)

You're not the first to ask: Different Language Audio (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=75651)

As burnout said, in order to get multiple audio support (i.e. a usable audio selection menu), your player needs the IFO files, which means playing the DVD as a DVD.
