I could guess that you've got Force FILM turned on in DVD2AVI for PAL content ... but that is just a guess. I suggest you:

just a hint: before looking further into GKnot and XviD be sure to have the latest ffdshow installed for playback.
get it at: http://athos.leffe.dnsalias.com/
an old ffdshow version could be responsible for the jerky playback.

this reminds me that I can include that version of ffdshow in the codec pack update...

yes, Force FILM was turned in dvd2avi....ill try without. thx

to Buzz:
shouldnt matter if i had an old ffdshow, since it is my own rips only, that jerks

to len0x:
made the same movie to xvid using your autogk, and it turned out just perfect. maybe jggimi was right about dvd2avi.

thx all

Hi.

Having two different versions of XviD codecs in the system had caused jerky playback of my AGK-generated .AVIs at one time. There's no substitute to being really careful in what one does. Life's a minefield of little traps one doesn't even know are there.

Regards.
