thank you in advance for all replies:)
Ok im using ffdshow athos build 20040520-p3, my encoder is vdub 1.4.13, graphedit, and vdub 1.5.1. I have used both default and custom configs with bothe encoders in question, along with disabling all advanced options. In both vdubs it just crashes (it gives me the debug window, but im not familiar with building binaries and stuff so i dont know what to make of it)with graphedit it doesnt crash, it initiates the graph byt doesnt encode anything (ocaisionally when i try to stop the graph it will crash, but not every time)
Im using windows xp home edition build 2600 system specs: AMD athlon xp 2800+ barton core 333mhz fsb (no ocing), abit kd7 via atx kt400, 256mb pc2700 ddr, ati tv wonder ve capture card.
source material: 5min 40sec clip from the matrix reloded ntsc dvd encoded to ljpg for faster testing of multiple codecs @720*360, 720*352, 352*176, 320*160, no audio.
hope this is enough info:D
[edit] sorry bout the typo in the title
