EVD format of Chinese

This new technology seems offer higher video and audio quality than DVDs.
In 2004, only four manufacturer have decided to market compatible DVD disk player. The number of 1.8 millions DVD disk player has been announced for this year.

Some questions about audio structure:

What do you think about advanced audio codec EAC 2.0?
Do you know if some test has been realized, to compare basic audio( stéreo 2.0 or double-mono), DVDaudio or SACDaudio.

I saw that it was possible to have EAC 5.1 multichannel.
What difference between DD 5.1.
Do you think that EAC will be going to create an extension of its multichannel format audio for example 6.1/7.1 like DTS 6.1, EX, 7.1

Mpeg4 AVC (Advanced Video Codec), also known as H.264.
