Hi.

I've got two avis which I want to merge and deinterlace, without re-encoding. Is there anyway to achieve that through VDun or avisynth ?

I know that if I want to Deinterlace through VDub, it will require me to go to full processing mode and thus I'll be forced to re-encode the clips... Is there anyway to deinterlace them without re-encoding ?

Thanks in advance.

no way.

ever touch on the image itself requires reencoding.

maybe you want to use the realtime deinterlacing of ffdshow or dscaler instead

Thanks, I'll re-encode it then, after all.

ffdshow can deinterlace on playback.

I guess he didn't see that there's a test forum. Now, let's return to the topic ...
