Annoying compile-problem

I re-installed VC++6 (and upgraded it to SP6) tonight to do a quick compile of XviD, but the compiling fails.

The error reported is: "Error executing cl.exe"

cl.exe is present and in a path searched by VC++, so I'm kinda lost over what it could be... (And the fact that it's 2AM here doesn't help!)

I had trouble compiling XviD with SP6. You may need to use SP5 + Processor Pack, you will have to reinstall VC++ to install SP5 (the "Reinstall" option worked fine for me, no need to completely uninstall first). Also, you will want to read doc\INSTALL (make sure you have nasm like it says).

EDIT: Deleted stupid accusation that the Processor Pack was no longer available from Microsoft...
