Is there any way to batch encode avi files to dvd?

I've got a bunch of avi files in the same format/res/audio bitrate that I'd like to record in a dvd to watch on my standalone. Basically I want to encode them all with the same setting, but I can't be selecting them one by one, anyone know a way to batch encode avi files to dvds? Thank beforehand for your help.
