i got some movies from my digital still camera.... i go to "avisource" it into an avisynth file..... seems that i don't have a direct show filter for mjpeg... i looked alot online... but i couldn't find any free ones.... i can see them when i watch them alone... but i was to use them with avisynth.... any suggestions?:confused: :confused: :confused:

Have you tried the Morgan M-JPEG codecs? Find them here (http://www.morgan-multimedia.com/m3jpeg.htm). IIRC, they aren't free, but are wrapped in a 30 or 60 day demo package, so this might be a place for you to start. I've read posts on the Morgan codecs from time to time here in our forum, and while I don't have a link at hand that would point you to any of them, a search would turn them up pretty easily, though, as there probably aren't that many threads to cull through.

I know this is a stupid question but have you checked the driver disc that came with the camera? Cameras that use MJPEG should come bundled with a decompression codec, at least mine did...

just use DirectShowSource() then...
if you can render the video in your player, it should also work with directshowsource in avisynth!!
