I will try to take your advise and look into it.
I can use windows schedualer to spin virtualdub to action after the capture is done.
only problem would be - I didn't see any Audio item in virtualdubMod. how to tell it to also compress my audio?
it seems like a common ehogth chore.
I may like to post it to add to your FAQ, for newbies like meself.
