Can you check this registry path:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\WinRAR archiver\UninstallString
and tell me what you have there, please.
P.S. also make sure that you have rar.exe in that directory (I use it command line version instead of winrar.exe)

This is the reg-key...
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\WinRAR archiver]
"DisplayName"="WinRAR gestione archivi"
"UninstallString"="C:\\Programmi\\WinRAR\\uninstall.exe"
P.S.: I have installed italian version of WinRAR 3.20

I have to investigate that, but there will be no new versions for at least a couple of weeks.

Crying out load won't help here.
P.S. now that I read this thread again - I don't think you reffer to regedit when you describe your path string. Double slashes only appear when exporting reg keys, not in the registry itself.
Check that you have C:\Programmi\WinRAR\rar.exe

Hi,
I had the same problem with WinRar, (I'm spanish), so I try to copy all WinRar directory from c:\Archivos de programa\WinRar to c:\Program Files\WinRar and Eureka!!!!, WinRar has been found now.
I know that it isn't perfect but it solves the problem so far.
Happy coding! Len0x :-)

Hi.
Just to cover all the possibilities, if you have any space or hyphen in the path to your files (for example the space in "D:\Video\Films\xxxx xxxx\Trailers\Teaser\") try to use a directory without them.
I know, I know, this shouldn't have anything to do with your problem, but I've had some poltergeist-like events because of that little detail.
Buona fortuna :)

No, the problem still remains :angry: !
D:\Video\Films\xxxx_xxxx\Trailers\Teaser

I just had a look at the code and that error actually doesn't mean anything! It is always displayed when internal subs are used and doesn't affect encoding at all.
Anyway fixed for next version.

I was reading the post and saw the same problem I'm having. I'm using AutoGK 1.25 and WinRAR 3.30 (English). Here is my reg path C:\Program Files\WinRAR\uninstall.exe, as it can be seen theres only one slash. Thx.
