XviD 1.0 Alternative GUI? + VHQ 1-pass question

Hi

Are there any alternative GUI's for the XviD 1.0Final? I'm after a GUI that has all the options on only one or two screens rather than eight or so tabs.
Also, regarding VHQ. There are plenty of threads about XviD with very few explaining what it does so it can be applied to different circumstances. From what I gather, it lowers the filesize while maintaining the same quality? Therefore the encoder can use lower quantizers. If this is close - is there any point using it with 1-pass quantizer 2?

VHQ is more intensive search and takes a wider approach. Higher settings will slow down encoding significantly. Setting 1 has a relatively small impact and it is recommended for all encodes.
