I dunno if this thread is going to be closed but anyhow..
I wanna ask people to post screenshots of their desktops. It's always cool to see the desktop of other people. To see what they use and stuff.
If you agree start posting links. :)
there's no reason to close this thread. but if there was, your 'wishfull thinking' wouldn't work. if u have doubts, you can always pm a moderator. but generally speaking, common sense prevails.
and to the topic, may i suggest that ppl post thumbmails that link to the full image, or at least post a resized image, otherwize, it's gonna be hell here ;) if u need a simple but very effective imaage manipulation application, i suggest irfanview.
cheers.

I'll go first.

I just reinstalled a couple of weeks ago and dumped a lot of junk from my desktop, so it's pretty sparse right now. Still, I don't keep a lot on my desktop anyway, I prefer to use the quick link toolbar for commonly used programs so I included that too (it's not blocking anything).
PS. If anyone recognizes my wallpaper picture and knows where I can get a high res version PM me (EDIT: nevermind, thanks Aythos). I love the picture, but had to upscale it to fit the desktop and it doesn't look great.

This is the setup of my main desktop. As you can see I like red. :D I might post my Windows desktop later. But since I don't use it much it is rather plain.

a rare sight, usually i have at least 3 layers of windows cluttered over it, so it doesnt really matter much. But what i can't stand on the long run are colored window elements (menu, button, etc) i need my base gray =)

How do you make your windows desktop look like a macos? That's pretty cool.

the image is from a bday online card. i liked it so much and it's been my desktop for over a year now :) usually i'm at 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 (more space on the taskbar), but i did 1024x768 for this image. my taskbar is in autohide mode, and i do classic start-menu (i hate all the junk at the default XP start menu).
sysKin, neo, nice desktops :)

Well I still let my little sister use my computer from time to time and i figure it's not really appropriate to have her play around on a desktop with a topless girl on it :P

I'm a toolbar whore :| Icons are set to hidden because I'm lazy and just save everything to my desktop until I run out of space on C. Then I move it all to another drive :/ tsk tsk. IT'S NOT REALLY X-RATED.
Here (http://www.watsuki.com/gallery/nanatsu.jpg)'s where I got the wall.

What about this babe? (found ages ago on renderosity.com) You're sure you wanna meet her in real life, avih? :D
At the moment my desktop is pretty clean. Most of the time it's cluttered with useless files. Every two months or so I move the whole mess to an extra folder and start filling the next desktop. Running out of hd space like RadicalEd is not a problem anymore since I moved my desktop to D: with about 60 gig of free space. Should be enough for the next couple of years. *g*
P.S.: Deviantart really is worth a look! digitalblasphemy.com ist great, too, though most of the files are for paying members only.
P.P.S.: It's a good idea to remove the pictures when quoting. Things start getting messy soon when every picture shows up multiple times.
